I had to get all the info, and codes to get into the place by text. Every time I would call, the owner would just text me. Also, communication with the bed and breakfast was different.
The owner needs to put more money into restoring this location. The chairs were antique, for the ambiance, but they could not be sat on. The ceiling above our bed was patched and not repainted so there were two different colors. The left handle on the sink was loose and came off. The shower caulk in our bathtub was moldy. On each floor, the fixtures, old as they be, did'nt have matching bulbs, or many bulbs were missing. The wallpaper in our room and the hallways were starting to peel away and instead of gluing, they put matching tape to hold it together, there were stains on the rugs in our room and holes in the carpet in the halls. Here are a few items that need to be attended to to bring this facility up to par. It is an older Victorian house with about 15 rooms, which does give breakfast. We wanted a sample of a bed and breakfast and a more traditional stay while going to our Godchild's wedding.
